14 June 2025

Celebrate His Majesty the King’s Birthday in style, and take in the Trooping the Colour moments from our doors at The Resident Victoria.

Watch one of Britain’s most spectacular royal traditions as The King’s Birthday Parade, also known as Trooping the Colour, returns to the heart of London this June. A grand military ceremony held on Horse Guards Parade, this remarkable event celebrates the official birthday of King Charles III and showcases the finest of Britain’s armed forces in a stunning display of military strength and pageantry.

Over 1,400 soldiers, 200 horses, and 400 musicians will come together for a meticulously choreographed parade, showcasing ceremonial drills, stirring military music, and the formal presentation of the Regimental Colour. The celebrations continue as the Royal Procession makes its way down The Mall, with members of the Royal Family appearing on horseback or in carriages, greeting the public along the route.

Like many major royal celebrations, the King’s birthday celebrations will conclude with an iconic RAF flypast, as the Red Arrows soar over Buckingham Palace, watched by the Royal Family from the famous balcony.
