What time is check-in?

If you have booked your stay with us directly as a Resident member, you benefit from a free 2-hour early check-in from 1pm. Otherwise, our standard check-in time is from 3pm.

What time is check-out?

If you have booked your stay with us directly as a Resident member, you benefit from a free 1-hour late check-out by 12pm, otherwise our standard check-out time is by 11am.

Do you accept pets?

We regretfully do not accept pets in any of our hotels.

Do you have any car parking?

The Resident Covent Garden has a nearby car park: Q-Park Chinatown, Newport Place.

A limited number of car parking spaces are available at The Resident Kensington, which must be reserved in advance. The nearest car park to The Resident Kensington is the London Marriott Hotel Kensington Car Park, 147 Cromwell Road.

The Resident Soho has two nearby car parks: Q-Park Soho, Poland Street and Q Park Chinatown.

The Resident Victoria has two nearby car parks: National Car Park, Semley Place and Q Park Victoria, Arneway Street.

The Resident Liverpool has a nearby car park: Q-Park, Hanover Street with exclusive discounts available for guests of The Resident.


Please note, while our friendly teams would be pleased to advise on local parking information, car parking is an agreement between the guest and the car park, The Resident takes no responsibility for car park bookings.

Can I store my luggage at the hotel?

Yes, we can securely store your luggage free of charge. If you’re arriving early or need us to hold your luggage so that you can head out hands-free on your last day, just drop them off with our reception team.

What is the cancellation policy?

Our cancellation policy varies according to the rate you have booked.


Our Best Flexible Rate (also known as Best Available Rate) can be cancelled or amended without charge up to 11am the day prior to arrival. If cancelled after 11am the day prior to arrival, the first night will be charged (including VAT).


Our Early Bird Offer Rate (also known as Advance Purchase Rate), which requires full payment at the time of booking, is non-refundable, non-amendable and non-transferable.

Do you have cots (cribs) for babies?

Yes, all our hotels offer complimentary travel cots (cribs) for your baby. Regretfully, this cannot be accommodated in our smaller rooms. Please contact the hotel in advance to let them know to set one up ready in your room.

How do the complimentary extra beds in the room work?

Many of the room types at each of our hotels offer an extra bed (or beds) in the room at no extra cost. Please be aware that the complimentary extra beds differ in size and type from the standard beds in the room, and range from pull-out camp beds to fold-out chair beds and sofa beds. Please check with the relevant hotel directly for more information.

Do you offer breakfast?

We offer breakfast with a difference. We don’t operate our own restaurant at the hotel, instead, we partner with local restaurants, cafés and bakeries to offer you a choice of offers and discounts at some of our favourite places that serve breakfast close by. Many of our hotels also offer the option of a breakfast delivery service to your room, so you can enjoy breakfast in the comfort of your room using the items from your mini kitchen. Please note that at present there may be a reduced selection of local food at our different locations.

Can I bring my own food, or order food in?

Yes, you can! Your self-sufficient in-room mini kitchen features a fridge and prep space, so you can store and prepare food at your leisure. You’re more than welcome to bring food with you, order in using a food delivery app, or our team can stock your fridge with any items you request before your arrival or during your stay. If you would like our team to help with items prior to your arrival, we charge the cost of the items purchased, plus VAT and taxes.

Do you offer gift vouchers?

Yes, we do! We sell online gift vouchers (from £50), which can be redeemed at any of our hotels – and can be personalised with a message. Find out more and treat someone special today.

Do you offer corporate rates?

Absolutely. If you or your colleagues stay regularly for business in London or Liverpool, we would love to host you, and can offer competitive corporate rates to match your requirements. To find out more email

Do you offer meeting spaces?

All our hotels have a refurbished lounge, with most offering different seating options that you can either plug in and work or relax and have a coffee and catch up with a colleague. Our Soho and Liverpool hotels both also have a meeting room – which is free to use for guests and can accommodate up to 8 and 10 people respectively. We don’t have any electric car charging points at our hotels, but please see a list below of the closest charging points at each hotel and more information here.

Do you have bicycles or scooters available at the hotels?

We do not currently have any bikes to borrow at our hotels, but please see a list below of the closest Santander Cycle Docking Stations at each hotel and more information can found found here.

The Resident Kensington: Knaresborough Place, London (1 minute walk from the hotel)

The Resident Liverpool: While Liverpool currently does not offer a city bike rental scheme, guests may rent a VOI Electric Scooter throughout the city, including at Lime Street Station and Pierhead. To learn more click here

Do You Have An On-Site Bike Store?

The Resident Edinburgh offers on-site bike storage for guests, while our London and Liverpool locations do not include Bike storage our team would be more than happy to assist you in storing your bike or finding a suitable location
