Respectful Behaviour
At The Sirius Hotel Group, we want everyone who visits, stays or works within our hotels to feel welcome, safe and respected.
We are committed to creating an inclusive and respectful environment for our team members, guests, visitors, suppliers, contractors and business partners. We ask everyone who interacts with our hotels and our people to treat others with courtesy, dignity and respect.
Our expectations
We do not tolerate behaviour that may cause others to feel unsafe, intimidated, humiliated or disrespected. This includes:
- harassment or discrimination;
- sexual harassment or unwanted sexual conduct;
- bullying or intimidation;
- threatening, aggressive or abusive behaviour;
- discriminatory or offensive comments or actions;
- unwanted physical contact; or
- victimisation or retaliation against someone who has raised a concern.
These expectations apply to everyone interacting with our hotels and our people, including guests, visitors, suppliers, contractors, business partners and members of the public.
If something happens
We encourage anyone who experiences or witnesses inappropriate behaviour within one of our hotels to raise it with a member of our team.
Concerns will be taken seriously and appropriate action considered based on the circumstances.
Where behaviour falls below the standards we expect, we may take action including asking the behaviour to stop, refusing service, requiring an individual to leave one of our hotels, terminating a stay or restricting future access or bookings. Where appropriate, we may also report serious incidents to the police or other relevant authorities.
Looking after our people and our guests
Creating a respectful environment is a shared responsibility.
By setting clear expectations for everyone who interacts with our hotels, we aim to ensure our team members and guests can work, stay and visit in an environment where everyone is treated with dignity and respect.
